I keep having to remind myself that not every organization starts in the same place along the innovation development road map.  There are times...like now...when I am fortunate enough to have different clients in different places on the map at the same time.  For example, I currently have three awesome clients who are keeping me on my toes:

• Client #1 has an awesome track record at delivering world-class customer service, but is in desperate need of employee retention ideas.
  
• Client #2 has more promising ideas than they could possibly implement in the next couple of years but they have always struggled with project delivery
• Client #3 has one of the most mature project/portfolio management systems but no way to get ideas (which are few in far between) into the project consideration pipeline.

See what I mean? 

While each client requires a completely different focus, they all have the exact same goal...something new that yields a financial benefit.

The moral?  Be well-rounded and patient!
