Taking Time For Family & Yourself
"A
hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the
sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...but the world
may be different because I was important in the life of a child."
The end of the year brings both reflection of the past and anticipation of the future. The quote above continually reminds me of what's important. The quote below from Walt Disney reminds me that the future is what we imagine. The difference is the Think For A Change, LLC. tagline:"IMAGINE THE FUTURE...MAKE IT HAPPEN"Walt Disney wrote in Reader's Digest (December 1941) that "One reason the Christmas season appeals to me is that it makes us suspend business-as-usual routine and let our minds soar for a while. It is a time when the imagination is more sprightly than at other periods of the year; Christmas seems to release even the most solemn of us from the Scrooge realism that occasionally besets all of us. It is natural, of course, that I should think of Christmas in terms of imagination, for imagination is my business."
I will be taking some time over the next two weeks to wrap up another successful year and start planning for 2008. I encourage you to do the same. The research, the strategy, the client, the project will all be there when you get back. Enjoy!
HAVE A VERY HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON!!!!!!!
